Set to borderless printing, piece the pages together, and start your sewing project! – it's that simple!

Cut the front and back top pieces, as well as the ruffle pieces, on a fold. Cut the front and back shorts twice, mirroring each side.

Stitch the front top piece to the back piece along the side seams. Similarly, sew the front ruffle piece to the back ruffle piece along their side seams. Overlock the side seams.

Fit the ruffle over the top, aligning the right sides, and pin it along the top edge. Attach an elastic band around the top edge, adjusting the tension as needed for a proper fit. Test the fit and adjust as needed. Finish the hem of the ruffle.

Start hemming the front shorts, but only enough to sew the front short pieces together along the waist and side seam. Complete the hemming later.

To stitch the crotch, stitch the front shorts along the center (not all the way through), ending about 2” (5cm) before reaching the edge. Repeat this process for the back. Finish the crotch by sewing the inner thigh seams on both sides and then close the gap in the crotch. Overlock the seams.

Sew the front shorts to the back along the side seams and overlock the seams.

Connect the top to the shorts along the waistline. Attach an elastic band.

Finish the romper by completing the hemming of the shorts.
