Off Shoulder Wrap Blouse With a Kimono Sleeve Sewing Pattern

This design features facings to complete the edges of the blouse at the front and around the neckline. However, if desired, the edges of the blouse can be finished by folding them under twice and stitching.

1. Cut the front piece and the front facing twice, mirroring each side, and cut the back piece and the back facing on fold once. Cut the shoulder straps twice, and cut the short and long ties once. Mark all the notches. If you prefer a simpler method to finishing the edges of the blouse, you can omit the facings. 

2. Sew the front pieces to the back piece of the blouse along the sides and shoulders. Overlock the side and shoulder seams. If using facings, start by stitching the straps at the notch marks. Then, sew the front facings to the back facing, stitch the facings to the blouse (right sides facing each other) along the neckline, and overlock the edges of the facing. Press flat with an iron. If not using facings, finish the edges of the blouse by folding them under twice and stitching. Attach the straps.

3. Make a buttonhole on the right side seam of the blouse at the waistline. 

4. Hem the sleeves and finish the hem of the blouse. Finally, stitch the long tie to the left piece of the blouse and the shorter tie to the right piece.
