Sewing Instructions
Eeasier, without lining:

Cut the front pieces on the fold once, cut he back skirt piece as well as the side front and back panels twice (mirroring each side). Mark all the notch marks. If lining is desired, cut another identical set, shortening the length by 1.5 to 2 inches (4 to 5 centimeters).

If not using lining, sew the side panels (front and back) along the side seams, and overlock the seams. Finish the side panels’ top edges by folding them under twice by ¼” (0.5cm) and stitching. Sew the front and back pieces to the side panels, aligning the notch marks. Stitch the dress along the shoulder lines. Overlock the seams and stitch them in place around the neckline and the armholes.

Sew all the waist darts. Stitch the front skirt to the back skirt along the sides, and overlock the seams. Stitch the top of the dress to the skirt along the waistline, and overlock the seams. Sew the center back seam up to the zipper point, overlock the seams, and sew in a zipper.

Finish by hemming the dress.
