Sewing Instructions
-
Cut the back piece on the fold once, and cut the front, side back, and the ruffle twice, mirroring each side. Cut the strap twice. Mark the notches.
-
Sew the darts. Refer to the sewing guide for sewing the darts.
-
Stitch the front piece, the side back, and the back pieces together. Overlock the seams.
-
Finish the top edge of the cami (except for the neckline) by folding the seams under twice by ¼” (0.5cm) and stitching.
-
Finish the outer edges of the ruffles by folding them under twice by ¼” (0.5cm) and stitching. Sew the ruffle to the blouse by laying the center front flat on top of the blouse but hiding the raw seams under along the neckline.
-
Fold the front center inward, concealing the ruffle's raw edge, and stitch it in place.
-
Finally, make buttonholes, sew buttons, attach straps, and finish the hem of the blouse.
